The Design Process

Jennifer Morrison Interiors offers a variety of design services to fulfill the unique needs of residential clients. While we specialize in renovation and new construction, we also enjoy and appreciate the dramatic difference made by well thought out and
creative home redesign.
We selectively choose our design clients based on several criteria, including the scope of the project, the timeline and our
chemistry together as designer and client.

Getting Started

The first step is reaching out to us via email. We will then send you a discovery form to learn more about you, your project and your design goals. Once we determine we are a good fit we will set up an initial consultation. All of our design clients enjoy private appointments either in home or in our design studio in downtown Statesville. Soon after, we will share with you a professional Letter of Agreement (LOA) that is tailored to you and your project. This LOA breaks down our process, pricing and expectations. Upon our signed agreement, we will set plans in motion to make

your investment in your home come to life.

Additional Design Services

Custom Upholstery & Pillows

JMI has partnered with reputable NC furniture manufacturers to offer our clients custom upholstery pieces in as little as 10 business days. We love having this resource at our fingertips! We can also facilitate reupholstery of your quality, cherished furniture with thousands of fabric choices in house.

Paint & Wallcoverings

We schedule a time to meet one on one in your home to choose paint colors. Consultations start at $300 and vary in price based on the number of spaces. JMI also carries beautiful wallcoverings - a fabulous way to add personality and glamour to your spaces - from favorite trade-only sources such as Thibaut©, Schumacher©, Brunschwig & Fils©, Jim Thompson©, Lee Jofa©, Phillip Jefferies© and others.

Lighting

Lighting is everything. Let us change your space by adding the perfect complementary lighting. We have our own unique sources that specialize in creating the ideal (and often neglected) ambiance in your home. From ceiling fixtures to wall sconces, exterior fixtures, gorgeous lamps, and even light bulbs, these pieces can absolutely make or break an entire home.

Custom Window Treatments

Window treatments act to finish a space like nothing else. The trick is getting them right! We have custom workrooms that specialize in bringing our design vision for your windows to life. Whether it’s drapery, roman shades, shutters, or endless other options, these often forgotten additions are almost always a must have. Window treatments serve to not only provide necessary privacy, but to accentuate the view to the outside world. We also carry several lines of beautiful, custom drapery hardware.

Floor Coverings

Rugs ground, warm and even define space. Size matters. And so does content. Do you need wool, a synthetic, maybe a performance carpet or a natural grass material? JMI can simplify the process.We offer a large selection of Jaipur Rug samples in house. Some additional lines we carry include Stark Carpet, Fibreworks, and Exquisite Rugs. Our fabricator can custom cut, bind and surge our choice to fit and compliment your space. We love using new and old persians and turkish rugs, as well. We have spent years curating our sources.
